Instructor Michelle Wiebe will lead kids ages nine to 12 through a fun, fast-paced week of learning basic printmaking skills. Michelle will walk the kids through the history of printmaking, and give them a hands-on experience with different techniques using creative means. The kids will then explore ways to create masterpieces themselves, making crafts, gifts, and art that is simple, yet impressive.
Kids will end the week with a variety of hand-printed projects, their own set of carved blocks, as well as the skill to practice at home using basic art materials. Parents will be invited on the final day where the students will host a reception for their very own art show.
All materials will be provided.
