Heritage Collages with Arts Educator Carney Oudendag
April 18, 2011 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm
Do you have some wonderful old family photos languishing in a dust box? Bring original vintage photos (or copies if you wish to keep them intact) and we will “re-purpose” these into evocative projects! Participants will arrange collage elements and fun embellishments to create an antique looking commemoration in the form of cards, a book mark and/or journal cover. Presenter will provide some photos if you don’t have any. All other materials supplied.
Singing With the Stars with Centre Stage Theatre

Join Artistic Director Bonnie Gratz and the stars of Centre Stage Theatre’s current season in another lively sing a long of songs from your famous musicals. Learn behind the scenes details about your favorite musicals in this fun afternoon. Great for all ages!
Introduction to Jazz with Decidedly Jazz Danceworks
June 7, 2011 from 12:30-2:00pm
Maintaining a connection to the history of jazz dance, DJD’s style of jazz places strong emphasis on rhythm, a grounded style and natural jazz feel. This workshop will draw from basic dance techniques and skills within the jazz context along with social dance steps from the early days of jazz. Dancers with two left feet welcome!
