Photo Transfer Workshop

$50 for UAS Members, $70 for non-members (those who pay the non-member price will receive a one-year membership)

During this workshop participants will learn to use their own images from slide film with a Daylab to make individually unique Polaroid transfers on to paper. Polaroid Transfer is a photographic image-transfer process, or print making technique, which uses Polaroid film for the purpose of placing an image onto paper. What is a Daylab? A Daylab is a system designed to expose already developed successful images from slide film on to Polaroid film.

Instructor: Shanaz Pasha holds a B.F.A. from the University of Calgary with specialization in Photography, 2004. She is a freelance photographer, producing both commercial and fine art work. Shanaz’s work is primarily focused on themes of North American ‘Urbanscapes’, West Coast Landscapes and the private world of Studio Portraiture.
