Instructor Bio:
Michelle Rainey is an ACAD grad and did some pinhole work while a student, but then re discovered pinhole photography about 4 years ago when she and her husband set up their home darkroom, and became obsessed.

Since then she has really immersed herself in the process and has created more than a thousand pinhole negatives and more than 20 home made cameras. Last July Michelle showed a series of her pinhole self portraits and cameras at the Untitled Satellite Gallery. Michelle also participated in the Exposure 2010 photography festival with her photographs and workshop at Arts on Atlantic Gallery. Michelle and her husband Tekoa Predika have done workshops from their home darkroom but this will be Michelle's first workshop at the Untitled Art Society. Michelle and Tekoa's photography business, Rainika, have started doing mobile pinhole projects and workshops with their new "darkroomTent". There will always be more pinholes to do, the possibilities with pinhole photography are uniquely endless.
