Get ready to “Gleek Out!” this summer with the Youth Singers of Calgary. Our week long “Gleek Out!” Show Choir camps offer kids ages 8-14 the chance to sing and dance like the stars of the hit TV show and experience something totally different and totally exciting. Participants will learn a three song set, record a demo CD and perform in costume at the end of the week Showcase. Dates are as follows:

July 23-27: ages 10-12
Aug 13-17: ages 8-10
Aug 20-24: ages 12-14

9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily

How do I apply?
Application forms can be obtained by visiting www.youthsingers.org by calling the YSC offices at 403.234.9549 or by talking to the teacher or professor who referred you to this program. Application deadlines can be found within each program description.

What should I wear?
Clothes should be comfortable, tidy and loose enough for movement, stretching and dancing. Appropriate dance footwear should be worn for applicable activities and otherwise we require indoor shoes to be worn in all our studios.

What should I bring?
A healthy lunch and snacks to get you through the day as well as a water bottle labeled with your name.

What if I’ve already had some advanced training?
Great! You’ll bring a lot to the group and get the chance to help other performers while gaining brand new skills and experiences.

What if I’ve never done anything like this before?
That’s OK too. These programs are all about learning in STAGES and getting on STAGE. You just need to be willing to learn and do your best! We’ll start simple and build from there.
