Festival Organization Operating Grant & Interim Report

The Festival Organization Operating Grant is open to organizations that's primary purpose is the presentation of a stand-alone arts festival defined as: a special event that occurs within a defined limited period of time, with the primary purpose of presenting a multi-faceted, broad-based, celebratory experience, with activities that are accessible to the general community and that gather audiences in excess of 100 persons. There are two applications for this stream: one for festival organizations with annual budgets greater than $250,000 and one for organizations with annual budgets less than $250,000.  Applications for this grant are open to submission biennially. Calgary Arts Development's first intake for applications was February 2009. For 2010, all organizations that recieved investment in 2009 are asked to complete an Interim Report. This program will be open for new applicants in 2011.

DEADLINE: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2010

On-Line Granting System: Online interim reports will be available at the start of January 2010. If you are a returning operating grant client, you are eligible to receive a link to the on-line grant application. Organizations will receive a link via email, if you have not received an email from us by January 15 and you believe you are eligible to complete an interim report, please contact us to make sure we have the correct email address for your organization.

If for any reason you are unable to complete your application online, please contact us to make other arrangements. A Guide to On-Line Granting will be published after the online application goes live. This document will help you to to navigate the requirements for your 2010 Operating Grant Interim Report.

New applicants will be able to submit an application to the Festival Organization Operating Grant Stream in 2011. For eligibility enquiries please refer to our online eligibility form.

Please note: The statistical and financial forms below are only for organizations with budget under $250,000.  If your operating budget is over $250,000 goto www.thecadac.ca and complete financial and statistical forms available there.
