Call to Youth Artists in Calgary

The City of Calgary Public Art Program has recently become involved in the Calgary-Phoenix Sister Cities Committee through Calgary Economic Development (CED). As part of our role in strengthening Calgary's relationship with Phoenix, and their vibrant and thriving arts community, we are happy to promote the 2007 International Youth Artists Competition.

This year's competition invites youth, age 13 - 18, from all ten of Phoenix's sister cities (including Calgary), to submit original artwork that interprets the theme "Do We Live in an Open and Accessible World for All?”

Please refer to the attached documents for more information. Any support you can provide in further promoting this great opportunity for local youth is greatly appreciated.

For more information, contact Misty Cisneros, Youth & Education Program Manager, at (602)534-3751 or via email at misty.cisneros@phoenix.gov.
