Great spaces - A model for writers

Noise Between Stations points us to Paragaph, a membership-based facility located in NYC. What a great way for writers to access to the kind of space they need to practice their craft. Looking at their blog, they are also clearly building community in addition to supplying needed infrastructure for artists. Prices range from $80 to $132 per month, including internet access. Seems reasonable to me.
In our Arts Spaces Strategy, we identified "incubator spaces" as a necessary feature of the Calgary arts landscape as we work to become a city defined by its great arts spaces. Cities like NY, Toronto and other expensive places around the world are great sources of inspiration. We don't want to be them, that's for sure... but we sure can learn a lot by how they deal with similar challenges.
Know any similar examples?
