As you may or may not be aware the Alberta Government, through the department of Tourism, Recreation, Parks and Culture, is creating a new cultural policy for Alberta. They are requesting feedback on the drafted definition of culture, desired outcomes of the policy, strategic priorities of the policy, and strategies for implementing the policy by July 31st.

Calgary Arts Development and the Calgary Professional Arts Alliance invite you to bring your lunch to a discussion about the Alberta Cultural Policy on Wednesday, July 25th at Motel (2nd floor across from The Big Secret Theatre in the EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts, 205 8th Ave. SE)

11:45 Meet and Greet

12:00 - 1:30 Discussion

We will forward your thoughts from the discussion to the Minister of Tourism, Parks, Recreation and Culture. We understand it's a short time frame but hope that you can make it to lend a unified Calgary voice to the creation of this cultural policy.

Please also be sure to individually fill out the survey on
line
.

Please rsvp to holly.simon@calgaryartsdevelopment.com with "July 25" as the subject. Don't forget your lunch!
