A 6 week introductory course with Tristan Zastrow at Untitled Art Society
Course runs: Wednesday Evenings - 6:30pm to 9:30pm
From December 7th to January 25th
(two week break for the holidays)
Cost: 150.00 (no required supply costs)
Course Description:
This course will cover the fundamental recipes of image making; starting by looking at a wide range of photographs and analyzing their properties, moving into studying light and how it behaves. Then the majority of the class will be spent taking images, setting up mock scenarios, learning camera mechanics, composition, photographic field etiquette and laws pertaining to shooting in public and post-production.
- students must have access to a digital camera (preferably a DSLR)
Instructor Bio:
Tristan Zastrow is a Calgary based multi-disciplinary artist from the U.S. He graduated from ACAD in 2011 with a degree in Media Arts and Digital Technologies. His work is installation-based and relies on incorporation of the photographic processes often combined with various engaging formats.
