Fire Exit Theatre: From Metaphor to Movie - Rediscovering the Power of Visual Storytelling
- Posted by Mpeter on October 15th, 2012
For far too long, evangelical Christians have allowed their literal view of Scripture to bleed into a literalistic approach to art. As a result, their work is often criticized for its lack of sophistication, depth and emotive power. In this seminar, filmmaker Kevin Miller explains why powerful visual metaphors lie at the heart of all great storytelling and how Christian artists can rediscover this world-changing device.
Hosted by Kevin Miller
Saturday October 20th, 2012 — 9:00–noon
At Rocky Mountain College
$40 - to register val@fireexit.ca
Also, please join Fire Exit Theatre as they host opening night of Hellbound, a movie directed by Kevin Miller.
