Equity & Diversity Reporting Information Session
Calgary Arts Development and the Calgary Congress for Equity and Diversity in the Arts (CCEDA) are offering an information session on October 30, 2017 from 3:30 to 5:00pm. We will discuss the Equity & Diversity Reporting that is currently underway for organizations funded through the Cornerstone Program, Operating Grant Program, and the Organizational Opportunity Grant Program.
This information session provides step-by-step instructions on how to complete the reporting requirements. Also, how to communicate the purpose of this reporting with your staff, artists and volunteers. We are fully committed to assisting you complete this necessary reporting.
We recognize that this reporting is new for many individuals who work in the arts in Calgary. The comprehensive data collected through this reporting will help us better understand the identities of those involved in our arts community and in which ways they are involved. This information is important to understanding what is needed to make our arts community an inclusive and equitable place to work, strengthening our sector as a whole and contributing to our collective, long-term sustainability.
The deadline to submit this reporting is December 31, 2017.
