Advancing Diversity & Equity in Music Production (ADEMP) Workshop Series 2025 – Calgary

Alberta Music is proud to present a series of workshops to Advance Diversity and Equity in Music Production (ADEMP).

Through ADEMP, Alberta Music aims to support and empower producers and engineers who are:

  • Women/gender non-conforming, or
  • Relative newcomers to Canada or Calgary who want to be more integrated into the music community (arriving since 2018)

Priority for participation will be for the above groups (particularly in more rhythmic and “in the box” styles), followed by others who may be interested.

Participants will take part in workshops at SAD Entertainment studios in Calgary: 7335 Flint Rd SE, Suite #10, Calgary.

The workshops provide professional development and training to strengthen and expand the knowledge, skills and networks in production and engineering where they are currently underrepresented.

Applications will be assessed based on: stated learning goals, submitted sample, existing body of work and community involvement.
