Come and experience the richness of Venezuelan rhythms! Learn with Darmi Romero.

We’ll explore Fulia from Barlovento, Calypso, Parrandas, Sangueos, Tambor grooves and more!

Children: Thursdays, 4 – 4:45 pm
Adults: Thursdays, 5 – 6 pm

No previous experience needed! Come play, learn, and enjoy our traditions! We can’t wait to see you!

Right: 

Darmi Romero

Darmi is a Percussionist
and holds a Bachelor's
degree in Music, with
postgraduate studies in
Cultural Management and
Cultural Policy.

He has performed with renowned ensembles such as La
Trapatiesta U.C.V., the Simon Bolivar Youth Symphonic
Band, and the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Symphony
Orchestra.

He has served as a faculty member with Venezuela's
National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and
at the National Experimental University of the Arts.
Founder and General Manager of COMACU DE VENEZUELA.

He was part of the educational program of the Bogota
Philharmonic Orchestra, Colombia. He performed as a
percussionist with the Princess Cruises band, bringing his
music to nearly 30 countries. He is currently based in
Calgary, Canada, where he works as an educator and
collaborates as a musician on various projects.
