This non-juried visual art event is designed to bring artists and the community together in an open and welcoming environment.
The event is free for the public to attend, creating an accessible and engaging experience for both artists and visitors.
What Artists Gain
- Participating in Airdrie ArtWalk offers artists a valuable opportunity to connect directly with local patrons in a meaningful and personal way.
- Artists are able to showcase and sell their work on-site while gaining exposure through ArtWalk’s marketing channels.
- Each participating artist is also included in the official event listing, helping to expand their reach and visibility within Airdrie’s growing arts community.
Who Can Participate
- Airdrie ArtWalk is open to visual artists working in a wide range of original media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography, digital art, mosaic, encaustics, caricatures, portrait work and mixed media.
- We welcome artists at various stages of their creative journey, provided that all work displayed is original and created by the exhibiting artist.
Registration and Conditions
To participate in Airdrie ArtWalk, artists must first reserve their space by selecting a booth type and completing their deposit through the registration form. Once payment has been processed, a confirmation email will be sent.
After reserving your space, you will need to complete your artist profile by submitting representative artwork images, an artist bio, your social media handles and any location preferences if applicable. Registration is considered complete once payment has been confirmed, your images have been reviewed, and a final confirmation email has been issued. Artists who are not selected due to space limitations or not meeting eligibility requirements will be notified and issued a full refund.
