Applications for Alberta Culture Days 2026 grants are now open!
Mark your calendars: September 1 – 30. Let’s celebrate, Alberta! Community groups and non‑profits: apply to bring free, family‑friendly cultural events to life across Alberta this September.
Grants up to $10,000 are available to showcase the creativity and diversity of our province.
Funding is available for 3 different categories of Celebration Sites:
- Feature Sites – at least 3 event days during September, with funding available up to $10,000
- Host Sites – at least 2 event days during September, with funding available up to $5,000
- Pop Up Sites – at least 1 event day during September, with funding available up to $1,000
Alberta Culture Days takes place throughout September annually, during which community organizations are encouraged to host online or in-person events.
Funding assistance is designed to support free, family-friendly Alberta Culture Days activities, events and promotions that engage public participation and inspire future involvement.
