About the Play
Learning to Count Past 100, written by Eve Beauchamp, directed by Madeleine Taylor-Gregg.
An off-beat and cathartic dramedy about cookies, calculations, and bickering with your childhood demons. Because when people are hard, numbers are easy, right? RIGHT?!
Characters:
- ROWEN: Early twenties (she/her)
- YOU: Mid-to-late twenties (any gender)
Audition Information
Auditions will be held on March 28, from 10 am – 5 pm. To submit for an audition, please apply through the following link: forms.gle.
Successful applicants will be contacted to schedule an audition slot and provided sides.
In the case that you are unable to attend the in-person auditions, there may be an opportunity to submit a self-tape. Please email eve@levitytheatre.ca to express your interest.

Remuneration

Levity Theatre Co. is an award-winning Calgary/Ottawa-based queer theatre company created by emerging artists Eve Beauchamp and Caity Smyck. Founded in 2020, Levity brings innovative queer-led work to both regional and national theatre spaces. Our work centres around exploring the complex and messy experiences of humans with levity and humour, in surreal environments for audiences to play in. Levity has performed in Fringe festivals across the country, including the 2025 Calgary Fringe Festival where they presented The Interview Play.
