Auditions for Gilbert & Sullivan’s Patience

Audition dates: January 13 – 17, 2026
Location: Morpheus Rehearsal Centre (3512 5 Ave. NW, lower level)
A comic operetta by Gilbert and Sullivan, directed by Winnifred Hume with music direction by Aly Carrigan and choreography by Kylie Bullock.
Open auditions for all roles will take place:
- Tuesday January 13 (7 to 9pm)
- Thursday January 15 (7 to 9pm)
- Saturday January 17 (1 to 4pm)
- Drop in Auditioners are always welcome!
Call-backs if required, will be on January 18 (1 to 4pm).
Audition Requirements:
- Auditions for Patience will take place In-person in ten minute time-slots.
- Please prepare a song to highlight your vocal abilities (approximately two minutes long). No matter what style of music you choose to sing bring your best character performance to your audition song!
- Bring your music track on your phone. A speaker and adapter cords will be available, although you are welcome to bring your own speaker.
- You may be asked to do a cold read.
- Auditioners are asked to complete an online audition form, with an acting resume and headshot.
- Selected auditioners will be requested to attend an in-person callback to read with other performers.

Rehearsals will be Monday/Wednesday evenings from 7 to 10pm and Saturday afternoons from 1 to 5pm starting January 24.
