Beaded Flower Workshop

In this workshop designed for beginners, join in and learn the history and significance of Métis beading, where you’ll learn to follow a traditional flower pattern to use in other personal projects.
All materials are supplied and yours to take home if you don’t finish the flower during the workshop! You can bring your own lunch, or add Spolumbo’s to your ticket purchase for an additional price and we’ll deliver it to the workshop!

About the Instructor
Janis Laboucane
Janis Laboucane is a Métis artisan from Fishing Lake Métis Settlement skilled in beading, drawing, painting, quilling and tufting. Janis is a gifted instructor with extensive experience facilitating programs and teaching native and traditional arts.
