Call for Auditors
The New Gallery
Dates: March – June 2026
Commitment: 10 – 15 hours yearly
Location: The New Gallery (208 Centre St. SE)
The New Gallery requires auditors for its 2025/26 financials.
As a charitable society, every year The New Gallery holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) to report back to our membership on the past year’s events and present our annual review engagement financial statements. We are looking for two volunteer auditors to review these statements in advance of the AGM. Please email us with your CV and qualifications. The successful applicants must be members in good standing to be nominated to audit this year’s financials at our upcoming Special General Meeting.
Membership can be purchased for $10, or pay-what-you-can.
The overall time commitment is between 10 – 15 hours and will require a brief introductory conversation outlining the volunteer commitment sometime in March – April 2026, an in-person meeting for the actual audit, and some email correspondence and work reviewing financial materials on your own time in advance of and after the audit. This work will take place in June 2026, with the in-person meeting happening on an agreeable date for both auditors.
Attendance at the AGM in late June 2026 is ideal if possible.
