Call for Free Art Supply Event Volunteers
Art + Craft Supply is hosting their second free art supply event on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 10am – 2pm at CommunityWise Resource Centre!
We are looking for volunteers that are passionate about art (or craft!) to help us maintain tables, restock inventory and help attendees with any art related questions they may have!
Volunteer requirements:
- At least 18 years of age (unless accompanied by an adult).
- Have a passion for art or craft. Beginner to professional levels are all welcome.
- Be comfortable with public speaking, including but not limited to, answering questions about art, supplies and the organization.
Schedule Options:
- Morning: 9am (set-up) until 12noon
- Afternoon: 12 until 3pm (tear-down).
- Full Day: 9am (set-up) until 3pm (tear-down).
Perks:
- First pick at the supplies available at the event. As well as the final pick during clean-up. (Some exceptions will apply.)
- Free volunteer stickers.
- Snacks and water provided, however, we recommend bringing your own water bottle for refills.
- Casual atmosphere with the opportunity to bring your own projects to work on.

Additionally, we are always accepting donations, so consider this alternative if you cannot make it to the event! Your donations go directly back to the Calgary community!
