Design Week Calgary is a festival celebrating the talent and impact of Calgary’s design community, and is happening August 6 – 8, 2026. Created by designers for designers, this festival opens the doors to our creative world, inviting everyone to explore, connect and be inspired.
Our 2026 programming, In Tune, invites us to notice the rhythms of our city — its sounds, spaces and people — and discover how design reveals connections often overlooked between the built world and our daily lives.
We are looking for designers, studios, students, educators and organizations with ideas that engage Calgary’s design community. Submissions can include exhibitions, talks, workshops, performances, screenings, tours, pop-ups or participatory experiences. Unsure where your idea fits? Submit anyway – we’ll help guide placement.
