Stage One Dates: June 2026
Calling all Mohkinstsis Indigenous theatre artists! Playwrights, actors, directors and stage managers are invited to submit to participate in Stage One 2026.
Lunchbox Theatre is committed to sharing powerful and uplifting stories that share diverse perspectives and voices. Our Stage One program does just that, by providing opportunities for playwrights to workshop and develop new works through public staged readings each June.
For the June 2026 edition of Stage One, we are focusing on uplifting Indigenous voices through our Stage One programming. If you are an indigenous artist who would like to be involved, we’d love to hear from you! Let us know how you’d like to be a part of the program: as a writer, director, performer, designer or something we haven’t thought of before!
