Casting Call: Puppeteer-Performers for Horror-Comedy Puppet Show
Loose Stitches Collective is currently seeking puppeteer-performers for our upcoming production, Don’t P*ss The Bed, an abstract horror-comedy puppet play touring multiple festivals this spring and summer.
We’re looking for creative, highly physical performers interested in:
- Puppetry and object manipulation
- Physical theatre
- Horror-comedy
- Devised and collaborative creation
- Improvisation and character transformation
Performers will play multiple characters and puppets, tormenting the main character through a surreal, anxiety-fueled nightmare world.
About the Show
Don’t P*ss The Bed follows Cole as he desperately tries to avoid his recurring sleep-paralysis demon, Skeezy—and, most importantly, not p*ss the bed.
The piece dives headfirst into a fractured psyche where fear, anxiety, and bodily dread collide in absurd, playful, and unsettling ways.
Rehearsal and Performance Timeline
- Rehearsals: Begin mid-January, with a heavier focus throughout February
- Performances: Mid-March through the first week of April
- Touring multiple festivals in Spring/Summer 2026
