The New Gallery
The New Gallery’s Volunteer Program welcomes individuals who are passionate about contemporary art, community engagement, and supporting artist-run culture. Volunteers play an essential role in keeping our artist-run centre active and accessible while gaining hands-on experience in arts administration, programming and event coordination.
Our volunteers contribute across three main areas — gallery operations, event support and director/coordinator assistance — and are invited to join a welcoming, collaborative environment that values learning, inclusivity and community connection. Volunteers are appreciated year-round through social events, exhibition previews and opportunities to work closely with artists and curators.
