Carya is seeking enthusiastic and welcoming dance teachers to lead beginner-level classes as part of our community programming in East Village. This is a paid freelance contract opportunity for instructors who are passionate about making dance accessible to everyone—no experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to move.
We are looking for teachers across all styles (hip hop, contemporary, cultural dance forms, ballroom, Latin, jazz, creative movement and more) who specialize in introductory instruction and creating supportive, low-pressure environments for first-time dancers, adults returning to movement and seniors.
Carya prioritizes accessibility, affordability and inclusion in all programming, and we welcome educators who are committed to building confidence and joy through movement.
