Peartree is an established local company specializing in ceramic impressions for people and their pets. All impressions are personalized and handmade step-by-step in a detail oriented production environment. Our studio is looking for the right personality to join our team.
This Monday to Thursday position requires someone who thrives on detail and consistency. Applicants must be confident in their ceramic skills and handling of precision tools. They must enjoy working with their hands in the completion of repetitive tasks as well as having an excellent eye for detail. We are looking for an individual who expresses a positive attitude and demonstrates the ability to work efficiently and communicate well within a team-based environment.
Position Requirements
- Ceramic production experience and/or hands-on artistic knowledge
- Strong understanding of color theory and composition
- Ability to preform repetitive and detail oriented tasks
- Analytical thinker with strong critical evaluation skills
- Experience with pets and an appreciation of animals
Position Responsibilities
- Application and detailing using proprietary underglaze and techniques
- Support and collaborate with team at various stages of the production process
- Handle memorial pieces with care and respect
- Must help entertain studio cat coworkers
