About Contemporary Calgary and the Opportunity
We believe that art is essential. Contemporary Calgary exists to create a place of wonder and belonging where everyone is invited to imagine, learn, and understand one another and the world we share, through the power of contemporary art.
We are seeking a full-time community engagement & partnerships officer. This individual engages with community stakeholders and builds strategic partnerships with communities, institutions and arts & culture organizations throughout Calgary, with the aim of increasing Contemporary Calgary’s profile as a destination of choice, growing our members, and contributing collaboratively to the city’s cultural fabric. Contemporary Calgary is embarking on a significant capital renovation and expansion (2027 – 2030). While parts of the gallery will remain open during this phase, this will be a time for the community engagement & partnerships officer to forge partnerships, and deepen relationships with organizations across the city, by finding ways to bring our programs and exhibitions to the communities we serve.
Contemporary Calgary is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse, respectful and inclusive environment that is reflective of the community we serve. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates for this position.
