Dance Instructors Wanted
Maven Movement Performance and Training Program
Maven Movement is hiring instructors for our upcoming Fall 2025 season and beyond!
We’re a Calgary-based adult dance program rooted in confidence, connection and performance.
Our offerings include two main streams:
- Spotlight – Performance-based classes culminating in full-scale shows
- Elevate – Training-based classes focused on technique and versatility
We’re known for our heels programming and are actively expanding into jazz, lyrical, contemporary, Latin, tap and street styles.
We’re seeking instructors who:
- Have experience teaching adult dancers at a range of levels
- Can teach heels and/or other complementary styles
- Value safe(r) spaces and community-focused learning environments
- Align with our commitment to body inclusivity and LGBTQIA2S+ representation
Sessions:
- Fall: Mid-September to early December
- Winter: January to March
- Spring: Mid March/April to June
- Weekday evening availability preferred, some weekends possible.
Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience, with additional paid opportunities for choreography, performance and workshop facilitation.
