This fall we go back to a land before time, where cave people and mammals dwelt. Whether your loved one/s want to expand their expressive powers, or learn about the world of theatre arts, we have the drama classes to suit your fancy!

New Tuesday Evening Drama Classes
Who: Ages 11 – 14
What: The Saps—Imagine a land before time where cave people learn to work together to understand their world. In a series of fun-filled drama classes, players will begin with self-development drama activities in order to expand their vocal and body expressive tools. Players will then learn storytelling, and performing arts techniques, in order to develop their communication skills. With a new sense of body and vocal confidence, players will express their character and the style of Theatre by presenting an adaptation of the movie The Croods, on the last day of the camp. This celebration of learning is for friends, family and anyone who would like to see how we play.
Date: Tuesdays, from September 24 – December 17, 2019, 6:00 – 8:00pm (from 5:00-9:00pm on December 17)
Location: Parkdale Community Centre (3512 5th Ave. NW)
Cost: $265/player, if registered by September 13, 2019 or for members of the same family or Parkdale Community. Regular price $295/player
The investment includes 13 classes x two hours/class plus two hours for dress rehearsal and performance at the end of the program = 28 hours (costumes, props and set supplied by Theatre A Go-Go).
