JAYU is hosting a free virtual workshop on filing taxes for artists and entrepreneurs on Thursday, April 9 from 6:30 – 8 pm ET via Zoom.

Led by Shantae Cunningham of Cobella Financial Inc., this session covers tax basics including deadlines and filing, self-employment income reporting, expense tracking for artists and freelancers, HST and EI implications and artist grants, followed by a Q&A.

This workshop is designed for young artists aged 12 – 29 and requires registration in advance. Registration does not guarantee placement — confirmation emails will be sent prior to the workshop.
