Film and Video Production Access Grant

Twice a year CSIF offers non-cash funding programs that provide support for your film through equipment rentals and facility access.
Four different streams are available to you. The deadline to submit is April 11, 2025 at 4:59pm MT.

Who Can Apply?
- Anyone is welcome to apply for CSIF Production Access Funds. Applicants do not need to be members to apply.
- CSIF encourages artists’ crossing over from another discipline to apply to one of the organization’s emerging artist grants.
- Applicants who are not already members of the CSIF will be expected to attend a CSIF new member orientation after applying to any one of CSIF’s production grants.
- All support for the projects is provided in the form of equipment and facilities access.
- CSIF Production Grants are intended for residents of Calgary and Southern Alberta.
- Applicants do not need to be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident of Canada to apply.
- CSIF actively promotes access for all artists, regardless of age, class, gender, sexual orientation, race or ability.
Please Provide in Your Online Application:
- A completed treatment or script of the film.
- Detailed project description of the project including a shooting schedule, a post-
production schedule, and a projected completion date. - A detailed and complete budget indicating specifically how the equipment access grant
will be spent. - A CV describing your previous experience in the Media Arts, including films and videos
produced if applicable. - Any support material (up to 10 minutes) including previous work. Please supply support
material on DVD, USB or active links to sites.
