Prospect Studio C
Location: cSPACE Marda Loop Treehouse (1721 – 29 Ave. SW, Fourth Floor, wheelchair accessible)
Date: February 21, 2026, 1 – 4:30pm
Studio C presents Sacred Geometry & Cosmic Order, a free art workshop grounded in Blackfoot teachings and creative practice. This enriching cultural afternoon celebrates Blackfoot knowledge, art, and storytelling. Space is limited, and registration is required.
Guided by Elder Joyce Healy of the Kainai First Nation, participants will be introduced to the teachings of the Medicine Wheel and will create a personal wheel to take home.
Following this, participants will explore Blackfoot cosmology and creation stories through a hands-on painting session led by interdisciplinary artist Chataya Holy Singer. Attendees will learn the meanings behind traditional Blackfoot designs and symbols while creating a night-sky painting inspired by these teachings.
This meaningful and creative experience offers a unique opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect with Indigenous culture, while leaving with two original artworks that honor Blackfoot heritage.
Free admission with limited capacity. Sign up here.
This workshop wraps up our Bridging Cultures initiative, a series creating accessible opportunities to learn from and connect with Indigenous artists, traditions, and community leaders. Hosted at Studio C, Prospect’s inclusive art space in Calgary.
