We are growing, evolving and expanding our vision and are embarking on a brand new public art program. BUMP Festival invites applications for the role of guest curator to lead a new sculptural initiative in Calgary that will launch in 2026. This project will commission site-specific sculptural installations that activate public space, foster community engagement, and contribute to the evolving narrative of Calgary’s cultural identity.
This opportunity is open to both Canadian and international curators with demonstrated experience in public art, contemporary sculpture, and place-based curatorial practice.
The selected curator will work in close collaboration with BUMP’s team to develop a curatorial vision, select participating artists, and guide the project through planning and production phases. This is a paid opportunity.
