NalaniDance Productions is Calgary’s only Hawaiian Hula dance studio specializing in modern day hula routines with a touch of family-style hula. We have conducted ongoing training in Hawaii with cultural practitioners and elders, learning from the source for all things hula (dance), mele (song), oli (chanting), and history and culture.
With permission and blessing to share aloha with Calgary and surrounding areas, we strive to impart the wisdom, knowledge, and history of hula in a safe, inclusive environment that allows for kupu (growth), ho’opl’a (learning), and ho’oulu (inspiration).
Spring and early summer hula classes are now open for registration. Open to all genders aged 16 and older, classes are held at Evergreen Community SPACES in Mayland Heights. Choose from monthly sessions or a three-month pass.
