Hello, Dolly Auditions

Audition dates: January 6, 7, 8 & 11, 2026
Location: Morpheus Rehearsal Centre (3512 5 Ave. NW)
Untold Stories Theatre is seeking performers from Calgary and the surrounding area to audition for our production of Hello, Dolly!
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
All auditioners are asked to prepare the following:
- A 1 – 1:30 minute cut of a musical theatre song you love to sing!
- Please do not sing a selection from the show.
While not a requirement, the team recommends singing something in the style of the show.
- Please prepare a backing track for your song on a device to play your music (i.e., phone, iPod, mp3 player, etc).
We will not have an accompanist or piano available but will have a speaker to plug in to.
Due to time constraints, auditioners will be cut off is their track is longer than 1:30. We will have an attachment for both newer iPhones and Android devices, but if you have one bring it with you just in case!

We are looking to cast around 26 performers including understudies/swings for this production. Performers for Hello, Dolly should be comfortable with learning classical vocal and dance techniques! Experience in these areas is not required.
