Join artist Emma Goudie for an Intro to Modern Bojagi!
Participants are invited to reflect on our spring/summer exhibitions and engage in collaborative art-making in this workshop led by Emma Goudie, artist and Esker Programs and Volunteer Coordinator, co-facilitated by artists Lara Ahmed and Emily Goodwin.
Learn about the history, cultural significance and modern sewing techniques of Korean wrapping cloths, Bojagi 보자기, in this introductory lesson to a centuries-old craft. Traditionally made from leftover fabric scraps, Bojagi involves piecing together textiles to create something new and meaningful.
