Rotary Calgary Concerto Competition
Volunteer dates: Between October 2025 and April 2026
As we begin preparations for the 2026 Rotary Calgary Concerto Competition, we’re forming a new Operations Committee to support the essential behind-the-scenes work that brings this incredible event to life.
This is a great opportunity to support young musicians, connect with others in the arts community, and be part of something truly inspiring.
We’re currently looking for volunteers to take on the following roles:
- Competition Logistics Coordinator
Love organizing and keeping things on track? You’ll oversee supplies, printed materials, juror logistics, and help ensure the event runs smoothly from behind the scenes.
- Outreach & Engagement Coordinator
A natural communicator? You’ll manage participant emails, reminders, scheduling, and assist in coordinating responses from jurors and volunteers.
- Social Media Coordinator
Creative and love sharing stories online? You’ll promote the event, share updates, and spotlight winners and behind-the-scenes moments across our social channels.
- Creative Media Coordinator
Have an eye for design? You’ll create the event flyer and produce a short video recap to showcase the competition and celebrate our amazing community.
Timing
The competition runs in early March. Most volunteer work happens between October and April, and you’ll be fully supported every step of the way.
