Please note: All campers will participate in Swim to Survive training led by certified Lifesaving Society instructors. This open-water program focuses on essential water safety skills, including open-water awareness, treading water, safe swimming techniques and floating. Swimming activities are weather-dependent but are planned to take place daily.
While in the water, camp leaders are fully committed to maintaining a high standard of safety. When campers are not directly with Lifesaving Society instructors, children in the 5–7 age group will wear lifejackets, remain in the shallow area and stay within arm’s reach of a camp leader at all times.
