Mapping your Inner Worlds
Perlin Foundation for Wellbeing
Date: Tuesday, November 25, 2025
Time: 6:30 – 8:30pm
Location: Alexandra Writers Centre Society’s Salon (4th floor at cSPACE, 1721 29 Ave. SW)
On Tuesday evenings in the shadow half of the year, we gather together to explore the world within us. Bring your inner light and an open mind. Please note that we will sit in a circle meditation for 20 minutes of this workshop. Various seating options will be provided.
We open the workshop with a discussion around the circle after an introduction from Stacey Perlin who will then guide you through a selection of grounding exercises and visualization techniques to stretch your thinking and free your mind from everyday constraints. In this space, you will be prompted to observe and consider your inner environment.
How do we create a frame of reference for our inner world—in the stories we tell ourselves, the cultural traditions we come from, and the wisdom we’ve learned along the way? We’ll cover a few of the more popular stories (chakras, conscious/subconscious, dimensions) that map out our inner worlds, then we’ll explore how that impacts the way we honour and align with our humanity.
Sharing your experience is voluntary, and know that whatever you do share is held in a safe space. We would love for you to join us to enjoy some light refreshments on us before and after the session. While we sit, listen to various tones that work with the energies and discover a level of freedom in our thinking that wasn’t there before.
