Sandstone City

Sandstone City is a new independent comedy show in Calgary’s Beltline, specializing in stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, improv — basically anything funny.

We’re inviting Calgary-based musicians or bands who are hungry to collaborate, perform and be part of something original.

We’re looking for a solo artist, duo or a band to:

  • Perform as house band
  • Play 1–2 original songs during the show
  • Create live improvised underscoring to heighten sketches and transitions

The vibe is intimate and theatrical — a black box theatre, not a bar or corporate stage.

This is a profit-share model, not a high-paying gig. It’s a chance to play in front of a live, ticketed audience and collaborate with comedians.
