Location: Resonant Blooms Music (3823 2 St. NW)
Pay: $25 – $50/hour

We are looking for a warm, engaging piano teacher who loves working with young children and beginners. This position is ideal for someone who values creativity, curiosity and fostering a lifelong love of music.

About Resonant Blooms Music Studio

Our approach is centered on creative exploration and joyful music-making. We do not focus on exam preparation (e.g., RCM); instead, we prioritize building strong foundational skills, musical expression and a positive early learning experience with an emphasis on live performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach beginner piano lessons to young children
  • Create a fun, supportive and engaging learning environment
  • Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and developmental stages
  • Communicate effectively with parents when needed

Qualifications:

  • Some experience teaching young children (early childhood or beginner piano experience preferred)
  • Patient, encouraging, and creative teaching style
  • Basic proficiency in piano and understanding of foundational music concepts
  • Reliability and strong communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Background in early childhood education and/or music pedagogy
  • Experience with creative or play-based teaching approaches

  • Lesson format: in-person lessons at the studio
  • Schedule: flexible, to be determined based on enrollment and availability

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate $25 – $50/hour depending on experience
