Welcome to Centred Clay Studios, Calgary’s newest, coolest pottery studio and instructional facility.
We provide skilled, hands-on instruction and support for those who are new to pottery and wheel throwing. Our guild-style studio provides a collaborative, relaxed and convivial community where potters of all experience can share skills and creativity.
We offer:
- Expert instruction for beginners
- Supported, self-directed practice for developing potters
- Home studio for working potters and ceramicists
- Secure! Members are provided a key fob and code. 24/7 access on approval
- Two L&L production kilns
- 15 Shimpo Nidec wheels
- Studio glaze program
Centred Clay offers six sessions per week
- Mondays 1 – 4pm
- Mondays to Thursdays 6:30 – 9:30pm
- Saturdays 10am – 1pm
Membership
New to pottery: membership includes four weeks of classes, a tool kit, and clay. Membership is ongoing, and you never need to reapply to keep your spot. Membership includes unlimited open studio time. Come for four weeks, four months, or make us your home studio!
