Pottery Studio Tech Assistant

Pay Rate: $15 – $20 per hour
We are looking for a responsible clay enthusiast to help our growing studio part time. This position would typically consist of 10-20 hours a week. That time would be spent assisting instructors during our evening classes, studio tidying and cleaning, along with various tasks that come with running a ceramic studio. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys a collaborative setting and has great communication skills.
Requirements
- Having a background in clay and ceramics is beneficial, 1 year of experience preferred
- Must know how to operate a ceramic wheel and center clay on it
- Knowledge of ceramic terminology, policies, procedures and functions
- Must be available most weekends and evenings
- Strong organization and time management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
