Position: Program Coordinator (Part-Time)
Hours: 12 hours/week
Salary: $22 – 25/hour

Are you passionate about the arts and excited to help shape public programming across Alberta? The Alberta Society of Artists (ASA) is looking for a second part-time program coordinator to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the art community.
What You Will Do:
As a program coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting ASA’s public programming and helping bring the arts to life across the province.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating ASA programs and events in collaboration with artists, galleries, arts organizations and government bodies.
- Managing communications with ASA members, participating artists and the public.
- Ensuring that the ASA Gallery is open and welcoming to visitors, Wednesday through Saturday, from 10am to 4pm.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone who is:
- Organized, energetic and proactive—with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
- Creative and adaptable—able to bring fresh ideas to life while supporting ongoing initiatives.
- Skilled in communication and relationship-building—with experience working with artists, organizations or volunteers.
- Tech-savvy—familiar with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, WordPress and design tools like Canva or InDesign.
