Location: F&D Scene Changes Ltd (2B, 803 – 24 Ave. SE)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time position
Wage: Commensurate with experience, $36.71 – $43.54/hr
Benefits: RRSP 4%, Health Benefits 4.5%, Vacation 6%
Education: Minimum High School, post-secondary is preferred
F&D Scene Changes is looking for a full-time entertainment project manager with entertainment industry experience in live entertainment venues, experiential marketing, public art, signage or theming.
Celebrating our over 40 years, F&D Scene Changes Ltd. has been internationally recognized for our talent in transforming our clients’ ideas into reality. Our projects range from theatrical scenery, television and film to theme park elements, museum exhibits, and trade show and retail displays. We have fabricated and installed our products throughout North America and internationally for various clients such as Cirque du Soleil, Universal Studios, Disney, The Centre Theatre Group, Netflix, HBO, PepsiCo and many other large entertainment clients internationally.
Skills Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills

- Must be fluent in written and spoken English
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to create and maintain client relationships
- Ability to interpret design renderings and drawings, technical drawings and engineering requirements
- Ability to generate construction estimates
- Ability to direct and manage crew labour
- Ability to oversee technical construction of welding, carpentry, sculpting, and painted scenery
- Moderate to advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in AutoCAD or other design software is considered an asset but not required
Preferred Work Experience:
- 5+ years of production manager or production director experience in live entertainment venues (Broadway, concert venues, theatrical venues, ballet, or opera)
- Experiential marketing, theme park, public art, signage, custom retail, TV or film experience also accepted
- Experience managing crews of 25+ employees
- Experience managing production budgets over $200,000
- Experience with the RFP/bidding process
- Experience managing Unionized crews
- Experience liaising directly with clients, designers, and technical managers
- Experience with project budgeting and meeting financial targets
- Experience in estimating project costs
Job Duties:
- Job duties will include generating quotations and bidding on projects
- Overseeing all production processes
- Hands-on technical problem solving and creative solutions
- Responding to client direction
- Costing, monitoring and ordering materials and supplies
- Upholding health and safety requirements
- Upholding regulatory and legislative requirements
- Managing shipping timelines and delivery of goods on schedule
