Songwriter In-The-Round

Rocky Mountain Listening Room

Calling all emerging to intermediate songwriters. The Rocky Mountain Listening Room, formerly the Rocky Mountain Folk Club (50+ years), is launching with a revamped concept with a goal to support up-coming songwriters and artists with education and performance opportunities. We have a whole season of workshops available with our headliners — discover songwriting with SOCAN, Canadian Folk Music and Juno Award winners.

You can apply to perform as part of an “in-the-round” opener alongside the main headliners.

All performers selected will be in the running for our end-of-season spotlight artist award (awarded to one stand-out artist), with a robust prize package including $500 towards production with Wheelhouse Sound, a headline set next season, and one-on-one mentorship from industry experts.

The songwriting lineup can be found here rockyfolkclub.com/workshops.
