Produced by Music Calgary, SoundOff Summit is the city’s flagship music conference and showcase festival, a gathering where artists meet opportunity and industry meets innovation. Across three dynamic days, delegates will engage in insightful panels, workshops, and conversations with some of the most respected voices in music at the Calgary Central Library, followed by curated evening showcases spotlighting emerging and established talent from across Western Canada and beyond.

Showcase highlights:
Thursday, November 13 – Opening Night
The summit kicks off at Platform Calgary before heading to The Palomino Smokehouse for the first showcase, featuring Polaris Prize winner Yves Jarvis, whose warm, vivid sound feels as handcrafted as it is visionary. He’s joined by a vibrant bill including L’Omelette, 36? and Witch Victim.
Friday, November 14 – Country Adjacent Night
Night two brings a stacked lineup to Legion #1 Downtown, celebrating Calgary’s country-inspired sounds and genre-bending roots talent. Expect a night of discovery, energy, and unforgettable live performances.
Saturday, November 15 – Final Night Blowout
The festival’s closing showcase hits BLOX Art Centre, where Wait//Less and Still Depths bring a high-voltage set steeped in noise, nuance, and raw emotion. They’re joined by Calgary heavy-hitters Astrology Girl, Oranje, and Bluffing, plus breakout newcomers Rebel Grrrlz, fresh off a recent Bandcamp spotlight.
Featured Conversation: Shad in Dialogue
On Friday afternoon, SoundOff presents an unmissable conversation between two of Canada’s most thoughtful cultural voices. Hemen Tor-Agbidye (Sled Island/Music Calgary) sits down with acclaimed rapper and broadcaster Shad for a rare, in-person discussion exploring creativity, culture and the future of Canadian music.
