Spring it on: Card Design & Printing

Location: A/P Studio, (460 42 Ave. SE)
Cost: $45 – $75
Come design and carve your own card and have it printed on the Nolan Proof Press!
AP staff will help direct the basics of linocut carving to help you achieve the best results. You will also be ables to set your own type and pull the prints off the Nolan Proof Press with the assistance of staff. All designs will be printed on specialty, scored, paper to create cards.
You can take a set of five cards home to share and spread the love!
No previous experience necessary!
The event will include:
- A directed carving session on lino
- Pulling your own prints off the letterpress with the assistance of staff
- Paper size is 4 x 5.5 inches
- Participants will leave with a total of five cards

Who is it for? Adults 18+.
All supplies are included!
Event Registration Fee: $45 for a single participant, or $75 for two participants, prices not subject to GST.
This event includes all project supplies, participants are recommended to prepare:
- Image ideas for carving at the size of 4 x 5.5″
- Park in the stalls located in front of A/P or use free street parking
- Bring reading glasses if you need them for fine work
- Wear suitable clothing for working with ink and/or a work apron
- Wear close toed shoes and avoid overly loose long sleeves
- Tie back long hair when operating machinery
- Personal PPE (if uncomfortable with Shared Studio PPE)
Additional Notes:
- Event limited to 12 Participants.
- This event is open to children ages 12 and up. All participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by either a parent or guardian who is also registered.
