Laugh while you learn from the pros through a hilarious and non-competitive comedy workshop! This is an opportunity to hone your public speaking tools, develop your comedy skills, improve your humour-in-the-workplace skills and even become a stand-up comic — FunnyFest Comedy will teach you the secrets of stand-up comedy.
This highly interactive comedy workshop is perfect for anyone interested in stand-up comedy and/or applying proven stand-up comedy techniques to personal and business life. Stand-up comedy is an art and a science. Laughter is a gift and a useful tool. The FunnyFest Comedy Workshop will make you think, work and improve. These universal principles can be applied in business and everyday life. Plus, you will have non-stop fun while you learn!
Overview of what you will achieve:
- Create five to 15 minutes of original comedy material.
- Take your public speaking skills to an advanced level with specialized and unique class exercises.

FunnyFest Comedy has extensive expertise in this arena. FunnyFest Calgary Comedy Festival has produced more than 2,000 comedy events and developed over 40 professional stand-up comics. The Comedy Workshop 101 is technique-driven and taught by professional stand-up comics who have performed in at least 1,500 shows each.
